PHO Message: Covid-19 Therapeutics Treatments February 11, 2022 General COVID-19 therapeutic treatments, SBCDPH 0 Message from Michael A. Sequeira, M.D., Health Officer, County of San Bernardino Department of Public Health February 11, 2022 San Bernardino County COVID-19 Provider, Thank you for your partnership as we continue to provide COVID-19 therapeutic treatments to our San Bernardino County communities. The COVID-19 therapeutics sotrovimab, evusheld, paxlovid and molnupiravir continue to be allocated to providers and pharmacies throughout San Bernardino County although these treatments remain in limited supply. As a result, we understand there may be a need for providers to refer patients to other facilities for immediate treatment. Additionally, patients may inquire about facilities where they can find treatment for COVID-19 infection. However, patients who are seeking out therapeutics require advice from a licensed physician and may require a prescription or administration of treatment by an authorized healthcare professional. Patients should not contact locations directly. In order to aide in access to all treatments, the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services has created webpages to easily locate providers with therapeutic inventories. Please see below for links to these resources. HHS Therapeutics Locator for PROVIDERS (Includes locations for Evusheld, Paxlovid, and Molnupiravir only) HHS Therapeutics Locator for the PUBLIC (Includes locations for Evusheld, Paxlovid, and Molnupiravir only) San Bernardino County Public Health also has helpful information for the Public and its Providers: https://sbcovid19.com/monoclonal-and-antiviral-therapeutic-treatments/ (Providers) https://sbcovid19.com/treatments-and-therapeutics-for-covid-19/ (Public) Again, we thank you for your continued partnership with San Bernardino County and your flexibility while we strive to provide equitable access to COVID-19 therapeutic treatments to our community. Thank you, Michael A. Sequeira, M.D. Health Officer Department of Public Health Comments are closed.
