CPPPH hosting Bay Area workshop on disruptive behavior February 9, 2016 General California Public Protection and Physician Health 0 California Public Protection and Physician Health, Inc. (CPPPH) is hosting a workshop for physician health committees that will focus on evaluating disruptive behavior. The workshop will be Saturday, February 27, 2016, in Oakland. Presenters will include medical leaders and experts in the field of physician health. The workshop is centered around three case illustrations of disruptive behavior, and includes discussion around what was done, what was learned and what was the outcome. The workshop will also include identifying resources and sharing information. Participation is usually limited to those who serve on physician health committees or have similar responsibilities, but because this topic is of wide-ranging interest, invitations are extended to all interested persons with clinical roles related to credentialing and privileging. Early registration is $45; the cost increases to $50 for those registering after February 21. To register, click here. No continuing medical education units will be offered. CPPPH was established in 2009 as an independent nonprofit corporation dedicated to developing a statewide physician health program to respond to the needs articulated by physician health committees. CPPPH is funded by the California Medical Association and its component societies, the California Hospital Association, California's specialty societies, and medical liability insurance carriers and individual donors.
