Food - Health - Cultura Webinar Series
From prescriptive to culturally delicious, this series will focus on conversations designed to inspire collaborations between Latinx Lifestyle Medicine specialists, Latinx healthcare professionals, trusted healers in the Latino communities and allies of Latinx health to amplify Lifestyle Medicine efforts nationwide. Cardiometabolic diseases disproportionately impact Latinx communities in the U.S., and our goal is to explore ways we can work with patients and the community to apply lifestyle medicine pillars, including a whole-food, plant-forward approach to nutrition, which can help reverse and prevent cardiometabolic diseases. Funding support is being provided by The Ardmore Institute of Health. Enduring CME credit from the Loma Linda University Continuing Medical Education for each session can be obtained here.
